Stop and smell the roses (or Reindeer Sausage) Ha!

I’m so thankful we get to spend some time traveling and capturing some of what others grow up with in their back yard.

Earlier this year, we spent some time in Alaska and Canada. I knew it was going to be beautiful, but had no idea there was going to be an image worth capturing every direction I’d look. I stopped today to reflect on our trip, and share some cool photos.

Enjoy!

Here is a sea plane that took us on a tour with stunning views...

We used Rust's Flying Services. The whole crew was wonderful... Thanks Rust's!

After spending 4 nights in Anchorage, we took a train to Seward, Alaska to hop on a cruise ship. It was a relaxing- beautiful train ride.

Of course, I could not keep my nose out of the kitchen on the cruise ship... that's what I do! LOL!

How about this for street food? This was at a stop in Juneau...

Skagway was one of my favorite stops along the way. We rented a car and drove into Canada where we saw a Canadian lynx, Dall sheep, plenty of bald eagles and a black bear.

A little whale watching:

How about this huge pressure canner for fish? I want one! LOL...

I'd definitely recommend not getting on Santa's Naughty List... This is the real naughty list!

We had a few more stops and plenty of great food before landing in Vancouver BC and taking a sea plane to Victoria, Canada.

Victoria, Canada was a great place to stay. The people were so friendly and the food was wonderful.

LOVE the floating house concept!!!

One of my favorite parts of the whole trip was visiting Butchart Gardens.

These were my favorite flowers of the millions we saw.

Back home... There's no place like home!

Hopefully you enjoyed the photos.

Have a great week!
